Work Issues in Pregnancy

    I have a potential client about 18 wks along who hasn’t informed work she is expecting because she said there is no light duty option in her area. She is a detective and it’s all or nothing; however, she’s getting to the point where she isn’t/wouldn’t be comfortable doing “all”. I already asked if there is a desk job only, but again, she said in her department there is not. I don’t think it’s right though that she have to take FMLA or short-term disability so soon (and not be able to use it when baby comes). Does anyone have past experience with this and have any thoughts or advice I can pass along?
