Kristen Bowers is a staff midwife at Wellspring Midwifery Care & Birth Center and attends both home births and birth center births in Montgomery County and surrounding areas. She completed her apprenticeship at Wellspring and became both a Licensed Midwife in Texas and a NARM Certified Professional Midwife in the spring of 2021. After birthing in a community birth setting, Kristen became motivated to help others acquire their birth goals and switched career paths to become a midwife. She loves to make people laugh and encourages parents to experience the joy surrounding pregnancy and birth, while also being both educated and informed about the choices they have.
