I am a newly licensed midwife as of November 2020, and am working as a staff midwife at Katy Birth Center. I also completed an EMT-Basic training and volunteer at Jersey Village Fire Department. I am a widow of 8 years after 26 years of marriage and the mother of 5 adult children (ages 28-33). Yes, I had 5 children under the age of 5 (with one set of twins). I experienced a hospital birth with epidural with my first, two with midwives in a birth center, and the twins were delivered via cesarean due to both being breech. I am expecting my first grandchild in May/June 2022.
